Welcome to the fifth annual Southwest Scottish Rite Regional Reunion Class of 2010 - Hosted in the Beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona - Theme for this year's event is "Western Roundup".

Yippee-Yi-A       MAY 12-16 2010

This is a Call for Candidates and Degree Teams to attend the 5th Annual Southwest Scottish Rite Regional Reunion, (SRRR) being hosted by the Phoenix Valley, on Wednesday, May 12th through Sunday the 16th, at the Chaparral Suites Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The SRRR will be an unique opportunity for the Southwest Orients of the Southern Jurisdiction of Scottish Rite Masons, [Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico & Utah] to hold a combined Reunion by gathering together to confer all twenty-nine Degrees upon worthy Candidates, as a courtesy to their home Valleys.

This Spring Regional Reunion is being patterned after the very successful 2009 fourth annual SRRR, held in Long Beach, California, where it had the honor of conferring the Scottish Rite Masonry Degrees to over 65 Candidates from multiple jurisdictions.  Boy, did Long Beach raise the bar of hosting the SRRR to a new high! It is hoped that this SRRR will continue to be a great annual event with a long running future

Not only are we planning on exemplify all 29 Degrees, but we also have special dispensation to have a Louisiana Degree team perform the Scottish Rite 1st, and 2nd Degrees on Wednesday afternoon, May 12th followed by an Italian chicken dinner; and the 3rd Degree on Thursday evening, May 13th for all interested Master Masons. A special Cajun dinner is being planned for Thursday night before seeing the degree. The Reunion will culminate with an outdoor Western BBQ Banquet on Saturday night, the 15th that will include a special Native American Powwow dancing entertainment.  Click on the "Schedule & Entertainment" Tabs on this site to find out more.

To register a candidate, yourself, a Degree Team, or just for more information please call us at Phoenix Scottish Rite Bodies at (602) 212-1073, x-203 or 204. We can also be reached by email at psrb_secretary@srmason-az.org, (there is an underscore between psrb and secretary). You may also obtain more information by on the "Registration" Tab on this site.

Attending the conferral of the Degrees is the "Masonic Motivation", but the SRRR is really about camaraderie, fraternalism, education and cooperation. You'll see some of the finest ritual work in the Southwest, have an opportunity of expanding your Scottish Rite network, and just having a great time.

Be sure to bring your lady and the entire family - they will have the opportunity to make new friends, visit fun and interesting locales during the Ladies Program, or just work on their tans pool side in one of the two pools. They can also do some shopping, take in a movie or two, eat a fine meal at a very reasonable price, see a some great entertainment.  Click the "Entertainment/Ladies Programs" Tab on this site for more information.

Phoenix Scottish Rite Bodies has obtained an excellent reduced rate at the Chaparral Suites Resort in downtown Scottsdale.  Don’t worry; transportation will also be available at no cost to and from the Airport as well.  Click on the "Registration/Hotel Reservation" Tab on this site to register.

We hope we'll see you there, the Phoenix Valley SRRR Team!
